18th Annual NECAS Conference
February 19-21, 2010

As promised, plans for the upcoming conference are well under way. Agenda items include presentations by Air Combat Command, Canadian Forces Snowbirds, 1 Canadian Air Division, FAA and Transport Canada. As in prior years the performer's forum will provide a chance for performers to briefly describe their act.  A new feature we are looking at for this year is the addition of a round-table discussion on the role of the Air Boss.

The North East Council of Air Shows, is pleased that Carl Hiebert will be our after dinner speaker (at 7:30 pm) on Saturday, February 20, 2010. Carl was the first person to fly across Canada in an open cockpit ultralight and photograph the country from coast to coast. What makes this even more amazing was that this occurred after a freak hang gliding accident put Carl in a wheel chair. Carl is truly inspirational and will make you re-evaluate your perception of risk and attitude.

To assist us in determining our numbers please complete the registration form ASAP. Registrations received after December 31, 2009 will be subject to a late filing fee of $5 and if filed after January 31, 2010, the fee will be $15.
